Tanya Clay, BS
Tanya Clay, BS, is representing the parent perspective. She entered the community of preemie motherhood in April 2011 when her son was born at 24 weeks. Her second NICU experience was in 2013 when her niece was also born at 24 weeks. Her niece fought many preemie battles including NEC. After almost five months in the NICU, pulmonary hypertension was just too much for her little, tired body to fight. Ms. Clay also is representing Hands-to-Hold, which is a non-profit organization that offers support to families who are experiencing a NICU stay. As the Hands-to-Hold ambassador program coordinator, her desire is to make a difference in the lives of preemie parents providing comfort and support so they know they're not alone.
