GutCheck^NEC was designed to be a risk measurement tool for infants at risk for necrotizing enterocolitis.

Two versions are available:

1. broad risk assessment of infants < 2500 grams (long version)
2. focused risk assessment for infants < 1500 grams.

You may use GutCheck^NEC and the SBAR for research, quality improvement or clinical projects provided it is not changed in any way and you acknowledge the authors in all published reports or presentations. If you wish to change GutCheck^NEC and/or SBAR, please contact Dr. Gephart with an explanation of how you would like to modify it.
