Laura Martin, MMEd

Laura Martin, MMEd, is a mom to a five-year-old, 24-week survivor twin, Joseph, who developed late-onset necrotizing enterocolitis at five and a half months of age. Joseph was left with 30 percent of his small intestine and has multiple health complications as a result of NEC. A former chorus teacher, Ms. Martin now works for Graham's Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports parents of premature infants. She, her husband, and their children reside in a suburb of Atlanta.
