James Moore, MD, PhD
James Moore, MD, PhD, is currently an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and is the medical director of the NICU at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. He earned his master’s, PhD, and subsequently his MD degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He finished his pediatric residency training at UT Southwestern, and his neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s in the Harvard combined training program. He has been active in clinical research related to NEC and most recently exploring the relationship between transfusions and tissue oxygen changes in the preterm gut.
