Corrine Hanson, PhD, RD, LMNT
Corrine Hanson, PhD, RD, LMNT, is an assistant professor in the Division of Medical Nutrition Education, School of Allied Health Professions, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and holds the M. Patricia and James W. Leuschen Professorship for Advancing Research in the Allied Health Professions. She has more than 25 years of combined clinical and academic experience. Her strong clinical background is an asset for two reasons: she has an in-depth understanding of the role of nutrition in the management of progressive diseases over the life course, and a great deal of experience working with interdisciplinary teams. Her research interests are in the area of nutrition in the prevention and development of adverse health outcomes, and she has extensive experience with the design and execution of research in the NICU setting.
