Suma Rao, MD

Suma Rao, MD, is a board certified neonatologist affiliated with the Pediatrix Medical Group in Phoenix, Arizona. She completed her neonatology fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago. She serves as board member on the IRB, and actively trains pediatric residents and fellows. She is a co-investigator for a neonatal abstinence syndrome study in the NICU. Actively pursuing quality neonatal outcomes, she has also been involved in projects to improve breast feeding in the NICU, feeding task force, hand hygiene, decreasing central line infections, and on the ROP work group.
